LEANERS Sustainability Strategy 2024 – 2030

Our company helps public sector organizations in Lithuania and other countries around the world become modern. We understand modernity in management as the ability to respond to the needs of stakeholders, use resources rationally, create innovations, and do all this with a long-term perspective in mind.

We are certain that the modernity of organizations is inseparable from their sustainability.

We strive to be sustainable ourselves and inspire others

Our consulting services cover the most important areas of organizational development – people, processes, technologies. All of them create an impact on nature and people.

Therefore, by contributing to the education of public sector organizations and the implementation of changes in them, we aim to be sustainable ourselves, and at the same time inspire our clients to become so.

Our sustainability commitments

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which bring together the public, private and non-governmental sectors, are for everyone. Therefore, taking into account the areas of impact of our activities, in 2024 we set out our sustainability commitments until 2027 and planned the activities we will implement.
We do all this voluntarily, albeit in small but important steps, contributing to solving environmental and social problems. We will inform about our achievements on our own initiative in the company's sustainability reports.

Climate change

By contributing to stopping climate change and improving air quality, we will reduce the amount of CO₂ emissions generated by the company's direct operations. (SDG goals 7, 11, 13, 16)

Measures:

We will rent office space for work in Lithuania and abroad in A+ and A++ class buildings that use energy from renewable sources.
We will use hybrid vehicles for our operations. We will continuously reduce the share of fossil fuels we consume.
When consulting clients on process optimization, we will encourage them to consider reducing CO₂ emissions in their operations.

Communities

We will help Ukraine until the end of the war and beyond. (SDG Goals 1, 16, 17)

Measures:

We will participate in projects of the EU and other international organizations, during which we will transfer our competencies to Ukrainian public sector employees.
We will consult on pro-bono management issues with non-governmental organizations assisting Ukraine and Ukrainians in Lithuania.
We will provide financial support annually to non-governmental organizations assisting Ukraine and Ukrainians in Lithuania.
We will mentor Lithuanian higher education students and members of youth organizations.

Waste

Contributing to a cleaner environment, we will reduce the amount of waste generated in the company's direct operations. (SDG goals 11, 13, 16)

Measures:

We will use as little paper or other stationery as possible in our activities, which would result in waste.
We will only sign documents electronically and encourage our partners to do so.
When consulting clients on process optimization, we will encourage them to consider waste reduction in their operations.

Employees

We will create an organization where everyone is good to work and help our client organizations become one. (SDG goals 3, 4, 5, 8, 16, 10)

Measures:

We will create conditions for flexible work from any country in the world according to an individual schedule.
We will create modern and comfortable working conditions in the office, constantly improving them based on employee suggestions.
We will encourage the continuous development of our employees by financing their training according to individual needs with company funds.
When consulting with clients, we will encourage them to create a work environment that is employee-friendly, inclusive, and conducive to development.

Business ethics

We will adhere to the principles of ethical business and transparency. (SDG Goal 16)

Measures:

We will constantly conduct customer NPS surveys - we will take their results into account when improving our services and products.
In our activities, we will apply the management methods and tools that we offer to our clients.
